Although Microsoft have done a magnificent job of keeping all the focus on Windows 10, compared to Windows Phone 10, details about the next variant of the mobile OS keep popping up.
Microsoft surely have their motives -- the various upgrades to Windows Phone 8.1 are now rolling out at a somewhat slow rate around the globe, and there's absolutely no point in sabotaging the sales of these devices.
Anyway, we learned the business was Interactive Live Tiles for the next version of its own mobile operating platform, whatever it ends up being called.
It appears that that's not the only major upgrade coming to the OS.
The same also shows that in addition to such developments, Redmond is busy developing a notification facility that is much more complex. It is going to be on all flavors of Windows Phone 10, supplying users access to actionable tellings.
This is, because you may know, a feature which has already been requested by many users.
By way of example, it might soon be possible to answer Skype messages without opening the program itself, or chat with contacts. A simple "answer" button in the tellings pane might do the trick, put somewhere close to the notification.
A welcome, if expected add-on.
